A former well-known advertising photographer, Alain Amiand now spends his time photographing the word "Hotel" wherever his travels take him. This vision of Alain Amiand exposes to us the infinite variety of the presentation of the word "Hotel" which, happily, reminds us that not all in this time of globalization is standardised.

1944: born in Toulouse (France)
1982: selected by The Creative Black Book (USA) as one of the top 2000 European advertising photographers.
1994: chosen as a photographer of reference by Nikon (Japan) in company with Jean-Louis Bloch-Lainé, Alain Ernoult, Dominique Issermann, Peter Lindbergh, Beni Trutmann, etc...
1995: exhibition at the Museum "Galerie du Château d'Eau" in Toulouse (France) which acquires one of his works.
2005: first-ever photo of the word "Hotel".
2006: his works make an entrance into the collections of the
